Everything you need to know about Net Atelier — from platform capabilities to billing, security, and getting your studio up and running.
Net Atelier is purpose-built for bespoke interior design — residential, hospitality, commercial, and multi-unit developments. The platform handles everything from concept boards through specifications (DOP), budget tracking, proposals, invoicing, and procurement. It is designed for studios that manage custom furnishings, COM (Customer's Own Material) items, graded product alternatives, and vendor coordination across multiple project phases.
Yes. Each project carries its own classification, workflow templates, and document presets — so a high-end residential villa and a boutique hospitality fit-out can live side by side in the same workspace. You can customise phases, markups, and document outputs per project type without cross-contamination of data.
Net Atelier offers clean CSV exports formatted for QuickBooks and other accounting platforms. You can also import concept boards and visual assets from Canva and PowerPoint directly into your Net Atelier projects, preserving the connection between visuals and their underlying specifications. For additional integrations, contact our sales team — we support custom API connections on our Studio tier.
Yes. Every project includes a secure client collaboration portal where you can share concept boards, approved specifications, proposals, and budget snapshots. Clients can review, comment, and approve selections in real time — reducing email chains and keeping a single source of truth for every decision. Access is controlled by you, and clients see only what you choose to share.
Net Atelier is a fully responsive web application that works on any device — desktop, tablet, or phone. There is no native app to download; you can access your workspace from the showroom, a client site, or the studio floor. The interface adapts to screen size while preserving full functionality for specifications, budgets, and approvals on the go.
The Professional plan is $49 per month for a single user, billed monthly, or $490 per year (two months free). Additional team members are $9 per user per month ($90 per year). There are no per-project fees, no setup costs, and no hidden charges. All plans include unlimited projects, full feature access, and free migration support.
Yes — you get a 30-day free trial with full access to every Professional plan feature: unlimited projects, concept boards, specifications, budget tracking, proposals, invoicing, and the client portal. No credit card is required to start, and there is no time limit on how much you can build during the trial. At the end of 30 days, you can subscribe or your account reverts to read-only access.
The base plan includes one user account. You can add additional team members for $9 per user per month. There is no maximum team size — a 4-person studio pays $76 per month, a 10-person firm pays $130 per month. You can add or remove users at any time, and changes are prorated so you only pay for the days used.
Yes. Our Studio tier is designed for established firms with custom requirements — dedicated infrastructure, advanced compliance, multi-entity billing, volume discounts, and dedicated support. Contact our sales team to schedule a consultation and receive a tailored proposal.
No. Net Atelier operates on a month-to-month subscription with no minimum commitment. Annual billing gives you a discount, but you can cancel at any time — your access continues through the end of the paid period. We believe the product should earn your continued business, not hold you hostage with a contract.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 (256-bit SSL) and encrypted at rest using AES-256. Our infrastructure runs on SOC 2-compliant data centres with strict access controls, redundant backups, and 24/7 monitoring. Your project specifications, client information, and financial data are isolated per workspace — no cross-firm data sharing occurs at any layer.
Never. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for any purpose. Your project data, client lists, and studio financials are yours alone. We collect anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature interactions) solely to improve the product. You can review our full Privacy Policy for the complete data handling framework.
Yes. Net Atelier is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR. We maintain Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) for all clients who require them, and we support Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), data deletion, and data portability on request. Your data can be hosted in EU or US regions depending on your preference.
When your subscription ends, your account enters a read-only state for 30 days, during which you can export all project data, documents, and financial records via CSV or PDF. After the grace period, your data is securely deleted from our active systems within 90 days. Full backups are purged within 180 days. We can also provide a complete data export before cancellation upon request.
Yes. The platform supports role-based access controls. You can assign team members as administrators, designers, or view-only collaborators. Permissions determine which projects, financial data, and client information each user can see and edit. This is especially useful for studios that want junior designers to have access to specifications but not budget totals or invoicing.
Most studios are up and running with their first project within 30 minutes of signing up. The platform is designed with an intuitive interface that mirrors your existing workflow — concept phase, specification, pricing, proposal, procurement. If you are migrating from another tool, our free migration support team can transfer your existing data, and most migrations are completed within 1-3 business days.
Yes. Every new subscriber receives access to our library of video tutorials, step-by-step guides, and best-practice templates. For teams of three or more users, we offer a live onboarding session (30-45 minutes) via video call where we walk through your specific workflow. Larger firms on the Studio tier receive dedicated onboarding support with custom workflow configuration.
Absolutely. We support importing from Excel, CSV, and other major design tools including Houzz Pro, Studio Designer, and MyDoma. Our migration team handles the data transfer for you — we map your existing fields, import project structures, and verify everything is correct before handing it over. This service is included free of charge with any subscription.
All plans include email support with a guaranteed 24-48 hour response time, staffed by team members with interior design industry experience. We also maintain an extensive help centre with searchable articles, video walkthroughs, and troubleshooting guides. Studio tier subscribers receive priority support with a dedicated account manager and same-business-day responses.
No. Net Atelier runs entirely in your web browser — no downloads, installations, or IT setup required. We support the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on both desktop and mobile. A stable internet connection is all you need to manage your projects from anywhere.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and ACH bank transfers. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
Annual billing is $490 per year for the base plan, compared to $588 per year if billed monthly ($49 x 12). That is a saving of $98 per year — essentially two months free. Annual pricing for additional users is $90 per user per year, compared to $108 per year at the monthly rate. You can switch from monthly to annual at any time, and the unused portion of your monthly payment is credited toward the annual plan.
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. If you cancel, your access continues through the end of the current billing period. There are no termination fees, no cancellation penalties, and no fine print. If you downgrade from annual to monthly mid-cycle, we prorate the difference.
Adding or removing users takes effect immediately, and the cost is prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. If you add a team member mid-month, you are charged only for the days remaining in that period. If you remove a user, you receive a credit applied to your next invoice. There is no minimum seat count beyond the one user included in your plan.
Yes. We offer special pricing for accredited interior design programs and select nonprofit organisations. Eligibility is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@net-atelier.com with your institution details, and our team will respond with a custom proposal within two business days.
