The Founder
Built From Lived Experience
Heather spent years as a practicing interior designer managing luxury residential and commercial projects. Custom estates. Resort-scale developments. COM fabric specifications for dozens of unique pieces per project. Every detail tracked across every vendor and client.
She managed all of it across PowerPoint, Excel, QuickBooks, email, Word, and PDFs — all linked together with spreadsheets. When one specification changed, it meant updating five separate documents. When a client asked for a revision, it meant hours of manual rework.
She tried every platform on the market. Houzz Pro was built around contractors and renovators — the features bespoke designers needed were buried under tools designed for a different market. MyDoma could not track COM fabrics or handle the financial depth her projects demanded. Studio Designer had a steep learning curve and per-user pricing that penalised small teams. Canva made beautiful mood boards that went nowhere — disconnected from specs, budgets, and proposals. Every tool solved one piece. None delivered the full journey.
So she built Net Atelier — not from the outside looking in, but from years of living the complexity every day.
